It's simple, really.
Any simple fool can gain control of his or her emotion. I am going to do just that. I'm going to shape up my life, and stop liking him - loving him - whatever the hell you want to use - and then my life will be much better. I'll be able to pull all my grades up, and do better work in class, and stop liking him. No problem.
